Clarity, Connection, and Deeper Understanding

I provide insight-oriented psychotherapy and leadership coaching for adults, professionals, adolescents, and families navigating transition, relationships, grief, pressure, and emotional growth.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a writer and educator whose work is grounded in curiosity, creativity, and the belief that greater understanding of ourselves can lead to deeper connection and change.

My work sits at the intersection of psychotherapy, leadership development, and creative exploration. Whether I am working with a therapy client, coaching a leader, or writing about emotional life, I am interested in the same questions: how we understand ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we create meaningful change.

Approach

We all have stories to tell. Stories from our past that continue to shape who we are, stories unfolding in the present as we experience emotions and relationships in real time, and stories we imagine for the future as we search for a different way of being in the world. Whether in therapy, leadership coaching, or creative work, I am interested in how people understand themselves, relate to others, and create meaningful change.

I see therapy and coaching as a collaborative process grounded in curiosity, reflection, and genuine human connection. I am an active listener and thoughtful partner in the work, someone who will support you at your own pace while also challenging you when needed.

Creativity is not something reserved for artists. It is one of the ways people understand themselves, solve problems, build relationships, and imagine change.

My approach is integrative and tailored to the individual. Drawing from training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, leadership coaching, play therapy, and creative writing, our work together is shaped by what will best support insight, growth, and meaningful change.

Who I work with

Adults & Professionals

People navigating burnout, transition, pressure, grief, relationships, identity, and questions of meaning in their personal and professional lives.

Adolescents & Families

Young people and families working through academic stress, emotional wellbeing, identity development, family communication, and periods of transition or uncertainty.

Leadership Coaching

Professionals, educators, and leaders seeking greater clarity, reflection, resilience, and effectiveness in their work and organizational relationships. Coaching offers an opportunity to step back from day-to-day demands, examine patterns, explore new possibilities, and develop a more intentional approach to leadership, communication, and change.

I welcome individuals from diverse cultural, racial, gender, and sexual identities and strive to create a thoughtful, affirming, and collaborative space for exploration, reflection, and growth.

Experience

My professional background spans psychotherapy, higher education leadership, public health, teaching, and writing. In addition to my clinical work, I have spent more than 25 years working in educational and organizational settings supporting students, professionals, leaders, and communities navigating complexity, transition, identity, and growth.

I have also provided leadership coaching and consultation within global financial, educational, and entrepreneurial environments, supporting both senior executives and emerging professionals navigating growth, transition, leadership development, and evolving career paths.

My work draws from advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, leadership coaching, public health, education, and creative writing.

Writing

Writing has long been one of the ways I make sense of the world. Whether through fiction, theater, scholarship, or personal reflection, I am drawn to questions of identity, relationships, creativity, memory, grief, and the ways people create meaning from their experiences.

Much like psychotherapy, writing begins with curiosity. It invites us to examine the stories we inherit, the stories we tell ourselves, and the stories we hope to live. For me, writing is both a creative practice and a way of exploring emotional life.

My work includes two completed plays, including one that received an off-Broadway staged reading and advanced to the final stages of consideration for production at the Geffen Playhouse. I have also completed a novel currently under review, doctoral research on organizational and leadership styles in school mental health, and coursework in creative writing at New York University.

Across these different forms, I remain interested in the same questions: How do we become who we are? What shapes our relationships? What helps us grow, heal, and change? And how do we find meaning in the stories that make up our lives?

A Portrait of a Therapist as an Artist

A space where psychotherapy, creativity, and curiosity meet. Through essays, stories, and reflection, I explore identity, relationships, meaning, and the inner life.
